Seven all-inclusive resorts across Jamaica’s 3 main resort coasts are open and bookable for the 2026-27 season. Several big names are still closed for renovation, so the list below includes only properties confirmed open. Pick by coast first, then by who is travelling.

From = the lowest nightly rate Booking.com showed for two adults on four test stays between November 2026 and September 2027, before taxes. Rates change by season and date, so use the Check rates buttons for yours.

Sandals and Beaches figures are per couple per night, from an August 2026 estimate by All-Inclusive Guide (entry-room low end; Beaches Negril from a March 2026 seasonal table for a room). Blank cells mean no nightly rate could be confirmed; check live dates.

Sandals Royal Plantation

Sandals Royal Plantation, also in Ocho Rios, is the splurge pick. Its entry room is the Oceanfront Butler Suite, and the August 2026 estimate is USD 600-680 per couple per night.

It suits honeymooners who want butler service built into the room price. Downside: it costs roughly double the cheapest Sandals here, so it makes little sense for a first-time visitor on a budget.

Sandals Negril

Sandals Negril sits in Negril and starts with the Caribbean Deluxe room at about USD 400-450 per couple per night (August 2026 estimate). A February 2026 guide listed roughly USD 270 per person.

Sandals headline rates are per person, so double the number for two. Downside: Negril is the longest transfer from Montego Bay airport (Beaches Negril quotes 75-90 minutes), so plan arrival day around it.

Riu Ocho Rios

Riu Ocho Rios opened in 2005 and stayed open through the October 2025 hurricane because Ocho Rios was among the least-affected areas, according to Riu’s own announcement.

That makes it a low-risk choice for a big group. Downside: it is one of Riu’s older Jamaican hotels, so expect a lived-in feel next to the newer Sandals Dunn’s River nearby.

Iberostar Selection Rose Hall Suites

Iberostar Selection Rose Hall Suites is in Rose Hall, Montego Bay, and is not adults-only, so families can book it. It is next door to JOIA Rose Hall, whose guests may use its restaurants, per Caribbean Journal.

It is a practical pick when you want to stay on the Montego Bay side, closest to the airport. Downside: JOIA reopens December 1 after a renovation, so ask about work nearby before a December stay.

Riu Palace Jamaica

Riu Palace Jamaica in Montego Bay opened in 2013 and reopened on November 24, 2025, per Riu. It works for couples and groups who want a resort with several restaurants and an easy Montego Bay base. Downside: Riu publishes no nightly rate in the pages checked, so compare dates yourself.

Royalton Negril

Royalton Negril reopened on August 25, 2026, bringing back 573 rooms, according to Travelweek. It is on Seven Mile Beach and has new dining concepts, wellness programming and redesigned rooms, per the Jamaica Gleaner.

Good for groups who want a beach address with fresh rooms. Downside: it reopened only weeks ago, so reviews are thin. The adults-only Royalton Hideaway Negril is a separate resort.

Royalton Blue Waters

Royalton Blue Waters is labelled Family Friendly on Royalton’s own site, which lists it in Trelawny. The Gleaner says it is about 30 minutes from Sangster International Airport and reopened with the other Royalton resorts in August 2026.

Downside: it is far from Negril’s beaches, and Travelweek had first scheduled its return for September 15. Confirm your dates with the resort.

Beaches Negril: the family alternative

Beaches Negril is not in the table, but it is the Sandals-family option for children. It covers 20 acres on Seven Mile Beach, with a Kids Camp for ages 0-17, a waterpark and a lazy river, according to All-Inclusive Guide.

Its rooms start around USD 590 per room in low season. Downside: the resort has no elevators except at Eventide, so ask for a ground-floor or low-floor room if stairs are a problem.

How to compare the three brands

Sandals sells per person and focuses on couples, Riu is the steady choice for groups, and Royalton covers groups and families. Check what each rate includes, because meals, drinks and room category change the real price. Confirm the reopening date of any resort listed as recently reopened before you pay a deposit.

Where to stay

Montego Bay is the easiest start. Iberostar Selection Rose Hall Suites and Riu Palace Jamaica are close to the airport, so you spend little of your trip in a van.

Negril suits beach days. Beaches Negril and Royalton Negril sit on Seven Mile Beach. Expect 75-90 minutes of transfer from the airport. Ocho Rios fits couples and waterfalls, with both Sandals resorts and a steady Riu.

When to skip these or wait

Do not book Sandals Montego Bay, Sandals Royal Caribbean or Sandals South Coast for now. Caribbean Mag lists South Coast reopening November 18, 2026 and the other two December 18, 2026, and dates can slip. JOIA Rose Hall reopens December 1.

If those are your first choices, consider another destination instead. Compare Cancun all-inclusive resorts, read where to stay in Cancun, and check the best time to visit Cancun before deciding.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are Jamaica’s all-inclusive resorts open in 2026?

Most are. Sandals Dunn’s River, Royal Plantation, Negril and Beaches Negril are open, as are the Riu and Royalton resorts listed above. Three Sandals resorts and JOIA Rose Hall return between November 18 and December 18, 2026, so check each resort’s notice before paying.

Which coast is best for an all-inclusive in Jamaica?

Montego Bay is best for short transfers, Negril for a long beach, and Ocho Rios for couples. Negril and Ocho Rios resorts need longer drives, with Beaches Negril quoting 75-90 minutes from Sangster Airport.

How much does a Jamaica all-inclusive cost per night?

The Sandals resorts above run about USD 310 to 680 per couple per night in an August 2026 estimate. Beaches Negril starts around USD 590 per room in low season. Sandals advertises per person, so double it for two, and holidays cost more.

Which Jamaica all-inclusive is best for families?

Beaches Negril has the most family features: Kids Camp for ages 0-17, a waterpark and a lazy river. Royalton Blue Waters is labelled Family Friendly, and Iberostar Selection Rose Hall Suites accepts children because it is not adults-only.

Is Jamaica better than Cancun for an all-inclusive?

Jamaica gives you beach-and-waterfall variety and a few top couples’ resorts, while Cancun has far more resorts to compare. Choose Jamaica for Sandals, a quieter coast or Negril’s beach. Choose Cancun for the biggest choice of resorts to compare.
